I set up to spend a period of time in a lift. Both feet were stuck in a block of plaster enclosed in a wooden case. At 9.00am I sat on a chair in the centre of the lift, recording passengers reactions to my presence.

I had not resolved a way of being released from the situation and decided to leave it to whatever may occur. By 11.30am the lift finally stopped functioning completely and remained between two floors disabling me to come out.

The engineers were called.

Two hours later I was released.
